Japan's Prince Akishino, wife Kiko leave for Italy, set to meet pope
Japan's Prince Akishino (R), the younger son of Emperor Akihito, and his wife Princess Kiko depart Tokyo's Haneda airport on May 10, 2016, for an eight-day trip to Italy to attend a celebration of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The couple is set to meet with Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Rome, and will also pay a courtesy call on Pope Francis in Vatican City. (Kyodo)
