Green substance affecting exterior of Taj Mahal
This file photo taken in February 2016 shows tourists visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra in the northern India state of Uttar Pradesh. A green substance produced by huge numbers of mosquito-like insects, emerging out of extreme pollution of the nearby Yamuna River, has discolored the white marble walls of the Taj Mahal, causing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to order a probe into the discoloring, as of May 24, 2016.
