China Navy ship sails near Senkakus, Japan vows to protect territory
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga speaks at a press conference at the prime minister's office in Tokyo on June 9, 2016. Regarding a Chinese Navy ship entering the contiguous zone just outside Japanese territorial waters around the disputed Senkaku Islands for the first time ever earlier in the day, Suga said "the government will take a resolute stance to fully protect" Japan's territory on land and at sea.
