Japan, Italy to cooperate on counterterrorism after Dhaka attack
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe meets the press at his office in Tokyo on the night of July 4, 2016, after holding telephone conversation with his Italian counterpart Matteo Renzi. The two leaders agreed to deepen cooperation on counterterrorism in the wake of a terrorist attack in Dhaka which resulted in the deaths of 20 hostages, including nine Italians and seven Japanese, Abe told reporters.
