Japan watching U.S. presidential election

Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga attends a press conference in Tokyo on July 20, 2016, after the U.S. Republican Party nominated Donald Trump as its presidential candidate. Suga said Japan will pay close attention to the presidential election to be contested by Trump and the Democratic Party's presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton.
