Chinese rights activist convicted of subversion, sentence suspended
Photo taken in March 2015 shows Zhai Yanmin, a Chinese civil rights activist arrested in a mass crackdown on lawyers and activists in July 2015. The 55-year-old was handed a three-year sentence, suspended for four years, and stripped of his political rights by a court in Tianjin on Aug. 2, 2016, China's state-run Xinhua News Agency said.
