Disaster-hit regions count on "Pokemon Go" to attract tourists
Local officials from four prefectures in northeastern and southwestern Japan that were devastated by the earthquake and tsunami in 2011 or badly damaged by a major temblor in April 2016, hold a press conference in Tokyo on Aug. 10, 2016, along with their mascots. The officials said they aim to attract tourists by capitalizing on the frenzy sparked by the "Pokemon Go" smartphone game. (Kyodo)
