Year-end radish boiling event held at Kyoto temple
People enjoy boiled pieces of Japanese radish on Dec. 7, 2016, during a year-end ceremony at Daihoonji temple in the western city of Kyoto. The food will be served for worshippers during the two-day event through Dec. 8. (Kyodo)
