Japan sees largest Okinawa land return from U.S. military in decades
Local people hold a rally in Nago, Okinawa Prefecture, on Dec. 22, 2016, to protest against the resumption of U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey flights after a Dec. 13 crash landing of one of the aircraft off the city. About 4,200 people, including Okinawa Gov. Takeshi Onaga, took part in the gathering, organizers said. (Kyodo)
