Nadeshiko Japan legend Sawa gives birth to baby girl

Photo taken in March 2016 shows Homare Sawa, a former member of Japan women's national soccer team and 2011 Women's World Player of the Year. Her agent said Jan. 10, 2017, that the 38-year-old Sawa gave birth to a baby girl, her first child, the previous day. The Nadeshiko Japan legend married a Vegalta Sendai staffer in August 2015 and retired from the sport at the end of that year. (Kyodo) ==Kyodo
