"Conspiracy bill" not to be submitted without Komeito approval
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga tells a press conference on Jan. 17, 2017, in Tokyo that the government will not be able to submit to the Diet a bill aimed at punishing those who abet terrorism without the approval of Komeito, junior coalition partner of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party.
