Japanese "hina" dolls of 2017 promising persons unveiled
Japanese doll maker Kyugetsu Co. unveils special "hina" dolls wearing traditional court dress depicting celebrities who are expected to come up big in 2017, at its headquarters in Tokyo on Jan. 26, 2017. The dolls made by the company are those depicting (from top L in clockwise) Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori, Japanese ski jumper Sara Takanashi, Tokyo Gov. Yuriko Koike and U.S. President Donald Trump. Hina dolls are traditionally displayed in the Japanese girls' festival on March 3. (Kyodo)
