Kyoko Hayashi, atomic bomb survivor writer, dies at 86
Photo taken circa 2012 shows Kyoko Hayashi, who chronicled with her novels the city of Nagasaki, where the United States dropped a second atomic bomb in World War II. Hayashi died on Feb. 19, 2017, at the age of 86, her family said. (Kyodo)
