China voices opposition to N. Korea's missile launch
At a regular press briefing in Beijing on March 6, 2017, Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said China is "opposed to" North Korea's launch of ballistic missiles in violation of U.N. resolutions. Referring to the military drills by South Korea and the United States, Geng also said "under current circumstances, relevant parties should exercise restraint and avoid anything that would provoke or heighten regional tensions."
