Computer software beats top shogi pro
Amahiko Sato, a Meijin grandmaster, or top professional player of shogi Japanese chess, loses to shogi software "Ponanza" on May 20, 2017, in the final round of the human vs. computer two-match shogi series, at Himeji Castle in western Japan. Sato had also lost in the first round. (Kyodo)
