Japan replaces Busan consul general after unusually short stint
Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga says at a press conference in Tokyo on June 1, 2017 that he does not know the reason for the replacement of Japan's consul general in Busan, South Korea. Yasuhiro Morimoto, who had been temporarily pulled from South Korea earlier in the year over the issue of "comfort women," quit after an unusually short stint. (Kyodo)
