Piko Taro, Tokyo governor promote start of LED light bulb campaign
Comedian Piko Taro (R) and Tokyo Gov. Yuriko Koike, both sporting the PPAP singer's trademark leopard print scarf, pose for photos at a ceremony in Tokyo on July 10, 2017, to promote the use of energy-efficient light-emitting diode bulbs. The event marked the start of a campaign in which the Tokyo metropolitan government will offer one LED bulb for free in exchange for two or more incandescent light bulbs brought from households.
