China's jailed Nobel Peace laureate Liu Xiaobo dies at 61
A van believed to be carrying the body of Nobel Peace Prize-winning dissident Liu Xiaobo leaves the First Hospital of China Medical University in Shenyang in northeastern China's Liaoning Province on July 13, 2017. Liu, who was detained and imprisoned numerous times for his advocacy of human rights and democracy in China, died of multiple organ failure aged 61 on the same day after receiving treatment for liver cancer.
