One of world's largest flowers blooms in Kyoto
An employee of Takeda Pharmaceutical Co.'s medicinal plant garden in Kyoto waters an Amorphophallus titanium on Aug. 1, 2017, as it came into bloom. The flower, known as one of the largest in the world and for its strong odor, is said to bloom only once in seven years. (Kyodo)
