TEPCO likely to end treating radioactive water in May

TEPCO is expected to complete the treatment of 600,000 tons of water kept in the tanks, including the water containing relatively high levels of seawater components, by the end of May 2015. TEPCO in January gave up its initial plan to complete the water treatment work by the end of March and was aiming for completing the treatment of water excluding that with high levels of seawater and residual water at the bottom of the tanks by May.
