Nobel laureate Hideki Yukawa's diary
Photo shows part of a diary written by Hideki Yukawa, a theoretical physicist and the first Japanese Nobel laureate, around the end of World War II. The diary, which Kyoto University disclosed to the public on Dec. 21, 2017, contains an entry confirming Yukawa's attendance at a conference held in June 1945 to study nuclear weapons. (Kyodo)
