Cryptocurrency hack in Japan
Representatives of Coincheck, the operator of the cryptocurrency NEM, tell a press conference in Tokyo on Jan. 26, 2018, that some 58 billion yen ($534 million) of the digital currency they manage has disappeared from a Japanese exchange due to hacking, an amount eclipsing the 48 billion yen lost on the Mt.
