Nobel laureate Shimomura dies at 90

Photo taken in September 2013 shows Osamu Shimomura, a co-winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize in chemistry, speaking as he holds a trap to catch sea fireflies on Kone Island in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture.
