Body scanner at Tokyo subway station
A body scanner that can detect electromagnetic waves is set up at a subway station ticket gate in Tokyo on Nov. 25, 2019. The Japanese transport ministry introduced the scanner on a trial basis -- for use until Nov. 28 -- as part of its efforts to tighten security toward the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. (Kyodo)
