YS-11 airplane
The first model of the YS-11 twin-propeller plane, which retired in 1998 and is now under disassembling, is unveiled to the media at Haneda airport in Tokyo on Jan. 15, 2020. The YS-11, the first passenger plane built in postwar Japan, will be transported to and reassembled at the Hirosawa City theme park in Chikusei in Ibaraki Prefecture, eastern Japan, for permanent display to the public.
