New coronavirus
Tetsuo Taniguchi, president of acrylic product maker Act in Osaka, shows an "aerosol box" -- equipment aimed at shielding medical staff from aerosol particles during intubation of coronavirus patients -- on April 22, 2020. The product was invented by Taiwanese anesthesiologist Lai Hsien-yung for doctors around the world fighting the pneumonia-causing virus, with information on its design revealed to the general public online.
