Legendary cartoonists' shared home
Photo taken at a manga museum in Tokyo on June 27, 2020, shows a recreation of the demolished Tokiwaso apartment, which was home to legendary Japanese cartoonists such as Osamu Tezuka and Shotaro Ishinomori during the 1950s and 1960s. The recreation, revealed to the media the same day, will be on public display at the Tokiwaso Manga Museum in Tokyo's Toshima Ward from July 7, about four months behind schedule due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
