Ex-Taiwan President Lee Teng-hui dies at 97
File photo taken in June 2007 shows former Taiwan President Lee Teng-hui visiting Tokyo's war-related Yasukuni Shrine. Lee, Taiwan's first popularly elected leader who played a key role in the self-ruled island's democratization, died on July 30, 2020, at 97.
