Oi shogi championship series

People in shogi sensation Sota Fujii's hometown in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, follow with rapt attention a shogi match between the 18-year-old and defending champion Kazuki Kimura in the Oi championship series on Aug. 20, 2020. Fujii won the match held in the southwestern Japan city of Fukuoka, completing a four-game sweep in the best-of-seven series to become the youngest player ever to hold two major titles about a month after winning the Kisei crown.
