Swimming: Ikee makes competitive comeback after leukemia treatment

Rikako Ikee, who in February 2019 revealed she had leukemia, smiles before swimming her first race in nearly 19 months at an event in Tokyo on Aug. 29, 2020. The 20-year-old returned to competitive swimming in the women's 50-meter freestyle and clocked 26.32 seconds to place fifth overall at Tokyo Tatsumi International Swimming Center.
