The Neuron Scientific Support Foundation awarded eight scientists and divided six million crowns among them at a ceremony in the National Museum in Prague today, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. The main prize for life-long achievements in science, including two million crowns, was awarded to plant biologist Jiri Friml (right) for his discovery of the crucial role of the hormone auxin in plant growth and resilience.
