Social Distance Celebration, architectonic installation

A new architectonic installation by Tomas Borek, Vojtech Jemelka and Jana Mlecka, named Social Distance Celebration, decorates Olomouc's central Lower Square from July 3, 2020, reflecting the recent coronavirus epidemic. The authors say the installation will symbolise people's joint defeat of the coronavirus. Situated next to a historical plague column, it will consist of 15 eight-metre-high wooden teepee poles standing in five separate groups of three poles, each of the tripods bearing a hammock.
