Daibutsu-den (the Great Buddha Hall),Todaiji Temple
This photo was taken before the restoration of the Great Buddha Hall in the Meiji Period because the eaves are waving. Since the present-day Buddha Hall was constructed in 1709, it had been almost two hundred years until the large restoration in the end of the Meiji Period.
