The Great Bell,Chion-in Temple
The big temple bell of Chion-in is seen from west of the bell tower, facing east. The kimono-clad man under the bell lifts his arm to touch the bell. A framed tinted photograph is attached to the pillar to the right. Also called Yoshimizu's Bell, this is the largest bronze bell cast at Sanjo-Kamanza foundry.
