Distant westward view of Mt. Fuji from Otome Pass at the border of Shizuoka and Kanagawa Prefectures. Otome Pass is part of the road to Gotenba, Shizuoka Prefecture via Sengokubara (Kanagawa) and Hakone. It has been famous since ancient times for its spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. During the Edo Period, travel restrictions were enforced and people were not allowed to pass.
