The railway in Noge
This photograph, carried in the October 2, 1871 issue of The Far East, depicts the bridge Aoki-bashi at the intersection of the Tokaido Highway and the train tracks. The foliage on the right is part of Honkakuji Temple. The train line to Yokohama follows the embankment made by Takashima Kaemon.
