The two-storied building on the right is Tsutaya. The house partially visible on the right is Sengokuya Inn. The roofs of these spa houses are thatched.                 This photo was taken from around the observation area of Glover Garden. The big western style building on the right is the Belle Vue Hotel, the first large size hotel in the foreign settlement. In the foreground is the fence by the slope to Oura Church. Approximately 9 meters were added to the Oura Bund in 1864. The first customs office building can be seen at the foot of the protruding embankment in front of the Umegasaki Customs House.
