3 dead in Japanese fishing boat collision with Russian ship

The five-crew-member Hokko Maru No. 8 belonging to a fishery cooperative in Mombetsu was catching hairy crabs at the time of the accident, which left three dead.

The Japan Coast Guard said the cargo ship capsized after apparently colliding with another freighter.
