U.S. Navy unveils rediscovered stone monuments

YOKOSUKA, Japan - The U.S. Navy unveils two stone monuments created by the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1915 as the navy held a ceremony at its base in Yokosuka, southwest of Tokyo, on Oct. 31, 2011. The monuments were discovered in 2005 during work to expand a quay. (Kyodo)
