Top 2 Kyushu Electric executives to resign
FUKUOKA, Japan - Kyushu Electric Power Co. Executive Vice President Michiaki Uriu speaks during a press conference in Fukuoka, southwestern Japan, on Jan. 12, 2012. The utility said Uriu will become president, succeeding Toshio Manabe who will resign along with Chairman Shingo Matsuo on April 1, 2012, over a scandal involving the company's attempt to manipulate public opinion regarding nuclear power generation.
