ISHINOMAKI, Japan - People scramble to get warm clothes for winter at a clothing donation event held at a community center in the city of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, organized by Marui Group Co., a Tokyo-based department store operator, on Dec. 11, 2011. In the event, about 10,000 items of secondhand or completely new clothing donated by Marui customers were offered to those affected by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. (Kyodo)
