Kyushu Electric chief Manabe to resign
FUKUOKA, Japan - Kyushu Electric Power Co. President Toshio Manabe listens to a question about whether he will quit during a press conference in Fukuoka on Dec. 26, 2011. Manabe indicated he could resign, possibly by March 2012, as a scandal involving an e-mail campaign by the utility to manipulate public opinion regarding nuclear reactors has basically been settled.
