School trip to reprocessing plant

KITAKYUSHU, Japan - A group of students and teachers on a school trip from Nagasaki Prefecture watched automobiles being demolished at West-Japan Auto Recycle Co., a waste-reprocessing plant located in the ''Eco-town'' complex in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, on Sept. 30, 2010. The southwestern city is eager to attract school trips by offering a tour package featuring visits to plants and other facilities tackling environmental challenges. (Kyodo)
