Kitanoumi returns as sumo body chief
TOKYO, Japan - Former yokozuna Kitanoumi holds a press conference in Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan on Jan. 30, 2012, after being elected chairman of the Japan Sumo Association. The 58-year-old Kitanoumi, who resigned from the post in disgrace in 2008 in the wake of a scandal, became the first in the history of the sport to return to the governing body's top spot. (Kyodo)
