Toyo Univ. wins Hakone ekiden

TOKYO, Japan - Toyo University's Ryuji Kashiwabara is tossed into the air by teammates in Tokyo's Otemachi business district on Jan. 3, 2012, after the university won the Tokyo-Hakone collegiate ekiden relay race. Toyo won the annual race -- a two-day, 217.9-kilometer round trip between Otemachi and the spa resort of Hakone in Kanagawa Prefecture -- for the third time in four years with a record time of 10 hours, 51 minutes, 36 seconds.
