NAGOYA, Japan - Hiroshi Amano (R) and Isamu Akasaki, winners of the Nobel Prize in Physics for 2014, show blue light-emitting diodes at a press conference held at Nagoya University in Nagoya, Japan, on Oct. 10, 2014.
