Japan installs U.S. military radar
KYOTO, Japan - Protesters chant slogans and hold a banner on Oct. 21, 2014, in front of the Air Self-Defense Force Kyogamisaki sub-base in western Japan city of Kyotango against the deployment of the U.S. military radar, the X-band radar. The radar, which can precisely track the trajectory of ballistic missiles, was installed in light of North Korea's nuclear ambitions and missile development. (Kyodo)
