All fuel removed from Fukushima Daiichi No. 4 unit pool
FUKUSHIMA, Japan - A transport container for unused nuclear fuel rods is removed from the spent fuel pool of the No. 4 reactor building of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on Dec. 20, 2014. Plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. said the same day it has finished removing all fuel rods from the pool, a major step in decommissioning efforts.
