People pray for prosperity before tuna at shrine
NISHINOMIYA, Japan - A large frozen tuna is offered at Nishinomiya Shrine, known as the head shrine for the "Ebisu" deity of good fortune, in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan, during a ceremony to pray for a year of prosperity for businesses on Jan. 8, 2015. People attach coins to the tuna in a traditional manner said to bring economic fortune. (Kyodo)
