Russian map of disputed isles

MOSCOW, Russia - A member of pro-Kremlin Russian youth group Nashi shows a map marking four-Russian held islands off Hokkaido -- called the Northern Territories in Japan and the Southern Kurils in Russia -- as Russian territory, in front of the Japanese Embassy in Moscow on Feb. 7, 2011. The group, angered by Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan's criticism earlier that day of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's visit last November to one of the islands, attempted unsuccessfully to give the map to Kan via the embassy. The group said they will mail it to the Japanese government. (Kyodo)
